A woman has changed her plea to guilty moments before going on trial over the murder of a man in Peterborough.

Nigel Clarke, 49, was found dead in his home on Eastfield Road on 29 August.

Stella McNulty, 46, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to murder at Cambridge Crown Court after previously denying the charge.

The trial continues in the case of Erika Butkeviciene, 47, of no fixed abode, who denies murder. McNulty will be sentenced at the end of the trial.

Two men, aged 59 and 45, who were also arrested on suspicion of murder after the killing were later released without charge.
