A woman who died in a crash on the A14 in Cambridgeshire has been named.
Heather Panter, 31, of All Saints Road, Newmarket in Suffolk died on the westbound A14, between junctions 36 and 35, on Thursday morning.
She was a passenger in a black Ford Focus driven by a 26-year-old man from Newmarket, who remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The drivers of three lorries also involved were not injured in the crash, which led to 10-mile traffic tailbacks.
BBC Look East's Kevin Burch, who reported from the scene of the accident, said it appeared the car drove into the back of a broken-down lorry on the edge of the slip road onto the dual carriageway.
Police, who said they did not think the accident was weather-related, have appealed for witnesses.
They have renewed their appeal to drivers who may have witnessed the incident.
Sgt Gordon Murray, from Cambridgeshire Police, said they were keen to hear from anyone who might have seen a vehicle stopped or broken down on the slip road to the junction with the A1303.
