Peterborough off licences spark 'drunken slum' fears
Peterborough MP Stewart Jackson has claimed the city's off licences threaten to turn it into a drunken slum.
Concerns have been raised about anti-social behaviour and though councils now have power to restrict the number of off licences in one area, a council spokesman said it would not affect existing businesses.
