Stephen Fry's Norwich City charity scarf stolen in Peterborough
The scarf was on display to publicise Age UK's winter campaign
A Norwich City FC scarf donated by the broadcaster Stephen Fry has been stolen from a Peterborough charity shop.
Fry was one of a number of celebrities to donate coats and scarves to Age UK's Spread the Warmth campaign to support the elderly in winter.
He is a lifelong fan of the club and has often been seen with majority shareholder Delia Smith at Carrow Road.
Hugh Forde, from Age UK, said the organisation was "deeply disappointed" by the theft.
Appealing for it to be returned, he added: "The scarf was a great asset to the campaign."
Others donors include The Saturdays' Mollie King, Geri Halliwell, The Great British Bake Off's Mary Berry and Downton Abbey actress Joanne Froggatt.
The charity is selling the coats and scarves at various branches throughout the UK.
