Man arrested over shooting at Peterborough travellers' site

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a shooting incident in Peterborough.

Three men suffered gunshot wounds at a travellers' site in Oxney Road, in Peterborough, shortly after 10:00 BST on 17 September.

A 46-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested at Thorpe Wood Police Station in the city on Wednesday.

A spokesman from Cambridgeshire Police said the man was being questioned by detectives investigating the shootings.
