Llywelyn Thomas murder: River Cam checked
Police divers searching a river in Cambridgeshire in connection with the murder of a pensioner have recovered a number of items.
Llywelyn Thomas, 76, was found dead at his Chittering home on 18 December 2011. Police believe he was killed during a burglary.
The items were found by divers at the River Cam's Grassy Corner near Fen Ditton.
Four men arrested in connection with the murder remain on bail.
Mr Thomas, a retired farmer, moved to the area from south Wales to be near family.
Post-mortem tests found he died from face and head injuries which may have been inflicted with a poker.
A police spokesman confirmed detectives were still looking for items believed to have been taken during the attack, including three "distinctive" watches - a Seiko Bell-Matic, a boxed Tag Heuer and a copied Breitling, a leather horseshoe wallet and a collection of coins.
Rewards totalling £50,000 have been offered for information leading to the conviction of those responsible.
