A normal service has resumed through Cambridge railway station following disruption on Wednesday afternoon.
First Capital Connect, Greater Anglia and Cross Country services through Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire were affected.
An overhead line problem was reported at 12:00 BST and was then checked out by engineers.
Services resumed at 13:00 BST but Network Rail said there were delays of up to 40 minutes.
