New techniques are being used by surgeons at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge to help patients with damaged facial muscles to smile again.
It involves moving a muscle from the side of the head down to the cheek instead of taking muscles from the leg or arm.
Patients recover more quickly than with the current procedure and it involves less surgery.
