Cambridge Olympic exhibition aims to inspire
The story of the classical Olympics is being used to inspire people in Cambridgeshire to become involved in the London Games in 2012.
Selected plaster casts from major collections are being used to illustrate the story at the University Museum of Classical Archaeology in Cambridge.
It is an initiative by Cambridgeshire Competes which, in partnership with museums and sports centres, is exploring the history of the county's connections to the past and future Olympic and Paralympic Games.
