New disease threat to bat population

There is concern that a new disease killing bats in America could threaten to reverse the revival of Britain's bat population.

The fungus has already been found on bats in France and Germany where, so far, there haven't been mass deaths. In Cambridgeshire wildlife experts are monitoring bats as they hibernate.
