Illegal migrants caught after restaurant raid in Ely

Immigration officers have found three illegal workers and another two illegal migrants during a raid on a Chinese restaurant in Cambridgeshire .

Two men and a woman from Malaysia were found working at the China Inn, Market Street, Ely.

Another couple, also from Malaysia, were found in a flat above the restaurant.

Immigration checks showed that three men and two women had overstayed their visas. All five will be deported.

The UK Border Agency said the restaurant could face a fine of up to £30,000.
