Man charged with rape at Walkabout bar in Bristol

Walkabout Bar, Bristol A woman was attacked at the Walkabout bar, police said

A man has been charged with the rape of a 24-year-old woman at a bar in Bristol.

Omar Aghri, 27, of Ashley Road, Bristol, has been charged with two counts of rape.

The charge relates to an incident in a toilet cubicle at the Walkabout bar in Corn Street in the early hours of 25 May, Avon and Somerset Police said.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before magistrates in Bristol later.
