A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Bristol.

Nicholas Robinson, 19, collapsed and died on 5 March after being stabbed in a communal area at Ron Jones House, Jamaica Street in Stokes Croft.

Nine people have been charged in connection with the murder to date.

Police said the boy was arrested in Bradford, West Yorkshire, on Thursday on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm.

He has been bailed until 22 May.

The nine people previously charged are:

  • Fabian Irving, 22, of Sussex Place, Bristol - charged with murder
  • Luchiano Barnes, 18, of Denbigh Street, Bristol - charged with murder
  • Fabian Cole, 18, of Byron Street, Bristol - charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm
  • Rowell Grant, 19, of Linton Road, Eastmoor, Wakefield - charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm
  • Frederica Critchlow, 48, of Windmill Hill, Enfield, London - charged with assisting an offender
  • Junior Hutchinson, 20, of Brixham Road, Bristol - charged with assisting an offender
  • Kirk Barclay, 23, of no fixed address - charged with assisting an offender
  • Patrick Barnes, 50, of Holly Lodge Road, Speedwell, Bristol - charged with assisting an offender
  • Rachel Lewis, 43, of Denbigh Street, Bristol - charged with assisting an offender
