The derailment of a train at a depot in Bristol is causing delays and cancellations to services in the city.

CrossCountry said a set of wheels had come off a train as it was being shunted, trapping four other trains in the depot at Barton Hill.

The disruption is affecting services between Temple Meads and Cardiff and between Temple Meads and Severn Beach.

No-one was injured and no passengers were on board. CrossCountry said a full investigation was now under way.
