Nicholas Robinson: Two more arrests over Bristol stabbing

Another two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in Bristol.

Nicholas Robinson, 19, died after he was attacked leaving Ron Jones House, in Jamaica Street, Stokes Croft.

The trainee bricklayer managed to telephone the police before collapsing in the street.

A 43-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man were arrested in Bristol on suspicion of assisting an offender and are being questioned.

A 19-year-old man from Bristol and a 48-year-old woman from north London, both arrested in connection with the stabbing on Wednesday, have been released on bail.

Seven other people have been arrested as part of the murder investigation. Five of them have been released on bail and two have been released without charge.

Mr Robinson had bought an engagement ring the weekend before he was stabbed. His fiancée has made an appeal for information.
