Bristol child sex inquiry leads to further charges

Three more men have been charged with a string of offences including rape, as part of a child sex inquiry in Bristol.

Ahmed Abdi, 24, and Mustafa Deria, 22, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court. They are due before the city's crown court on 6 February.

Mustapha Farah, 20, is due before the city's crown court on 28 February. All three men were remanded in custody.

So far, Operation Brooke has seen 15 people charged with sexual offences, Avon and Somerset Police confirmed.

Mr Abdi is charged with two counts of paying for the sexual services of a girl, arranging the involvement in prostitution of a child and supplying crack cocaine and heroin.

Mr Deria is charged with rape, and Mr Abdi and Mr Farah are charged with two counts of paying for the sexual services of a girl, one count of arranging/facilitating the prostitution/involvement in pornography of a child and supplying cocaine and heroin.
