Boy, three, hit and killed by Land Rover on Hastings Road

Scene of crash in Bedminster Police are at the scene carrying out investigations and appealed for witnesses to come forward

A young boy knocked down near a school in Bedminster, Bristol, has died.

The three-year-old was hit by a Land Rover pulling a trailer on Hastings Road at about 10:00 GMT, police said.

He was taken to Bristol Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Part of Parsons Street has been closed while investigations are carried out and police have appealed for witnesses.
