Teenager charged after PC Chris Hardaway roof plunge

A man has been charged with four offences after an incident in which a police officer fell through a roof and suffered serious head injuries.

Connor Moore, 18, is charged with criminal damage, supplying a class A drug, offer to supply heroin and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.

Mr Moore, of Gatehouse Way in Bristol, is due before Bristol Magistrates' Court later, a police spokesman said.

PC Chris Hardaway, 26, remains in hospital in a stable condition.

He suffered serious head injuries after plunging through the roof of the Bristol 2CV garage on Hampton Road on Friday.

He was taken to Frenchay Hospital for emergency surgery.
