Two men face drugs and sexual exploitation charges

Two men have been charged with offences relating to the sexual exploitation of children in Bristol, Avon and Somerset Police has said.

Idleh Osman, 21, of Brooklyn Road, Bishopsworth, and Arafat Osman, 19, also from the city, face a total of eight charges.

Idleh Osman appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court earlier and has been remanded in custody.

Arafat Osman has been bailed to appear at the same court on 16 October.

The force said the charges were part of Operation Brooke, part of its "ongoing investigation" being carried out by its public protection team.

Arafat Osman has been charged with two counts of paying for the sexual services of a child aged 16/17.

He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug (class B), being concerned in the supply of cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin.

Idleh Osman has been charged with arranging/facilitating the prostitution of a child aged 16 years.

He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
