Explosive device arrest: Man is bailed

A man arrested in Somerset after the discovery of a suspected explosive device in South Gloucestershire has been released on bail.

An Army bomb disposal team was called to a property in Kenmoor Close, Warmley, over the weekend after police were alerted by members of the public.

Eighty homes were evacuated and a controlled explosion was carried out.

Following the evacuation residents were allowed back into their homes at 20:50 BST on Saturday, police said.
