A man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was discovered in a house in Bristol at the weekend.

Nirmal Gill, 48, from Bristol, is due to appear before magistrates in the city after Rosemary Gill was found dead at the address in St Werburghs.

Police were called to the house in Treefields Place on Saturday lunchtime following reports of the find.

Ms Gill's family said she was "fun loving", "full of life" and would be "deeply missed by all who knew her".
