Two held after boy stabbed to death in Bristol

A teenage boy has been stabbed to death in Bristol.

The 17-year-old was stabbed near the junction of Cossington Road and Newquay Road in the Knowle West area shortly before midnight on Friday.

The youth was taken to Frenchay Hospital but died shortly afterwards.

Two men, aged 19 and 18, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Avon and Somerset Police has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
