Redfield pub disorder: Four men appear in court

Redfield area of Bristol Up to 40 people had gathered at the St George's Hall on Saturday

Four men have appeared in court charged over disorder at a pub in Bristol.

Bristol Magistrates' Court was told how 80 people had taken part in a march on Saturday, to raise money for Help for Heroes.

Trouble broke out after about 40 people gathered at the St George's Hall pub in Redfield at the end of the march.

Two men were fined up to £500 plus costs with a third awaiting sentence. A fourth man, who pleaded not guilty, is to appear in court in August.

Eight further individuals were given police bail to appear in court at a later date and seven others were given police bail pending further inquiries.
