Sound kit is seized ahead of illegal Bristol rave

Sound equipment which police believe would have been used at an illegal rave on New Year's Eve in Bristol has been confiscated.

Officers said the kit was seized late on Monday by officers who believed the rave was going to take place at the Babcock site on Chapel Street.

Police said youths had been congregating in the area.

Officers remained at the scene for the rest of the night in order to turn revellers away.
