Tories to run South Gloucestershire Council as minority
The Conservatives are to continue running South Gloucestershire Council as a minority administration.
The party, which gained one councillor and now number 34, failed to get an overall majority during the local elections on 5 May.
The Labour Party gained six seats in the election and total 15 while the Lib Dems lost seven and total 21.
The decision was made following meetings of the party leaders and the council's chief executive on Tuesday.
