Teenager fatally shot in Wolverhampton named by police

A teenager who was fatally shot in Wolverhampton has been named by police.

Raheem Hines-Thomas, 17, was taken to the city's New Cross Hospital on Saturday with a gunshot wound and died shortly after.

Officers said blood was found outside a property in Orslow Walk, Park Village, on Saturday night and four men had been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Three men are being held in custody for questioning and one man has been released on bail.

Two men, aged 17 and 22, were arrested on Saturday and are being questioned. A 28-year-old man was arrested on Monday and is also in custody.

A 20-year-old man, who was arrested on Sunday, has since been released on bail.

Post-mortem tests showed that a single gunshot wound had killed Mr Hines-Thomas, who police had originally described as an 18-year-old man.
