Plans for two Muslim cemeteries on greenbelt land near Solihull have been submitted.
If approved, the sites, near the village of Catherine-de-Barnes, would create around 11,000 burial plots.
One set of plans, for a 4,000-plot cemetery, has been resubmitted after being withdrawn in March.
Solihull Council, which will meet over the proposals within the next two months, said it could not comment on ongoing applications.
It received more than 160 objections and 180 submissions of support in response to the original plans.
