Murder charge against Chantelle Moran-Stokes dropped

A murder charge against a Birmingham woman following the death of a pensioner has been dropped.

West Midlands Police said "no further action" would be taken against Chantelle Moran-Stokes, from Darlaston.

Ms Moran, 24, was charged after the body of Cynthia Beamond, 80, was found in her home in Halesowen in June.

Leo Barnes, from Runcorn Road, Balsall Heath, has been charged with the murder of Mrs Beamond and Philip Silverstone, 67, who was found dead in London.
