Two 16-year-old boys have been charged with arson after fire destroyed a double-decker bus in Birmingham.

A 49-year-old woman and a man aged 59, both of Small Heath, have been charged with perverting the course of justice.

They were arrested after the blaze in Sparkbrook on 12 June. Police said 10 passengers were evacuated from the bus but no-one was hurt.

The four defendants have been bailed to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on 28 August.
