Investigation begins into Stourbridge pub 'arson'

Burned pub

A suspected arson attack on a derelict pub in Stourbridge is being investigated.

Crews were called to the Bull's Head at about 03:00 BST on Sunday after passers-by raised the alarm.

Firefighters from Stourbridge, Brierley Hill and Cradley searched the building in Pedmore Lane, which was empty.

A spokesman from the West Midlands Fire Service said the lower storey of the brick-built building had been gutted by the flames.
