Police in Birmingham stopped a van driver whose windscreen view was almost entirely blocked by plastic planks strapped to its roof.

The Vauxhall Combo was pulled over in Aston Hall Road, Aston, at about 08:00 BST on 18 June.

Police said the actions of the 30-year-old driver showed "common sense was in short supply".

The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for having no insurance and carrying a dangerous load.
