A woman has been arrested under the Terrorism Act, West Midlands Police said.
The force's Counter Terrorism Unit arrested the 21-year-old on Thursday morning on suspicion of failing to disclose information.
The woman, from Hayes, Middlesex, was questioned at a London police station and has since been released on bail.
Police said the arrest was part of a Birmingham-based, Syria-related investigation.
Two people have already been charged under the same investigation.

They have been charged with travelling to Syria to engage in terrorism and will appear at the Old Bailey in London on 31 January.
