Fake policemen attack 91-year-old Oldbury woman at home

Two men posing as police officers forced their way into the home of a 91-year-old woman and attacked her.

The fraudsters punched the woman in the face and demanded money before searching the house.

They left empty handed when she escaped her home on Pound Road in Oldbury, West Midlands, via a side door and alerted neighbours by screaming.

She was treated at hospital for bruising after the attack at 22:00 BST on Tuesday.

The duo were wearing dark suits and showed fake ID to the woman.

West Midlands Police are calling the men "evil" and checking CCTV cameras in the area.
