Walsall ambulance crash puts three people in hospital

Three people have been injured in a collision involving an ambulance and a car.

The crash happened in Walsall just before 09:30 BST on Broadway North, which has been closed between Princes Avenue and Walhouse Road.

A paramedic as well as the driver and passenger of a BMW sustained "non life threatening" injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service has said.

The road will remain closed while a police investigation is carried out.

    A 15-year-old girl was seriously injured in a crash on Wolverhampton's ring road last night.

    The teenager was crossing the Ring Road at the Waterloo Road junction, at about 16:30, when she was struck by a Volkswagen Golf.

    Police are appealing for witnesses.

    It is aware of a petition circulating in the community and is recording and responding to all correspondence received.
