Boy charged over Birmingham family stabbing

A teenager has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of two sisters and their mother.

The 17-year-old was arrested on Wednesday over the stabbing of the 41-year-old mother and two girls, aged 10 and 16, at Little Green Lane, Small Heath, Birmingham.

Magistrates in Birmingham remanded him in custody until 4 April.

The three victims are in a stable condition in hospital. A baby girl was discovered unharmed at the scene.
