Police seek to trace man over Birmingham shooting

Police trying to trace a man over a shooting which left a man paralysed are to make an appeal on the BBC's Crimewatch programme.

The 28-year-old victim was left paralysed from the waist down in the shooting on Babbington Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, on 25 October last year.

Detectives want to speak to Aidan Harris-Bennett, 22, also known as A-D.

Mr Harris-Bennett is described as 6ft tall and of medium build.

He has a tattoo on his left arm reading "4 LYF", police said.

West Midlands Police will appeal for information on BBC One at 21:30 GMT.
