Moazzam Begg arrested in Birmingham

26 February 2014 Last updated at 02:10 GMT

Police have been searching the Birmingham home of former Guantanamo Bay detainee Moazzam Begg.

Mr Begg, who lives in Hall Green, was held by the US authorities for almost three years but has never been charged with any offence.

He was one of four people in Birmingham arrested on suspicion of Syria-related terror offences, but this did not "imply any guilt", police said.

BBC Midlands Today's Peter Wilson reports.
