Two arrested after Wolverhampton barbershop stabbing

Two men have been arrested following a stabbing inside a barbers shop.

A 27-year-old man suffered a knife wound during an argument inside the shop in Stafford Street, Wolverhampton, on Wednesday afternoon.

A second man, aged 38, reported to the city's central police station a short time afterwards with a head injury.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of assault before being taken to hospital. The 38-year-old is in custody and the other man is on bail.

He remains in hospital, where his condition is described as stable.
