Fifty firefighters are tackling a "severe" fire on an industrial site near Walsall.

The blaze, at G and P Batteries Ltd in Darlaston, is believed to be in a warehouse storing lithium batteries, the fire service said.

Ten fire engines were sent to the site on Willenhall Road after being called at 14:25 GMT.

Some officers are tackling the blaze while others work to protect nearby buildings.

One person was treated at the scene but did not need hospital treatment, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

Another blaze took place on the G and P Batteries site less than a month ago.
