Three men have been charged after an attack in Birmingham city centre left a student in a coma.
The 22-year-old victim was assaulted in Arca Bar, in the Arcadian Centre, in the early hours of 19 February 2012.
Police said he received a head injury and has been in a coma ever since.
Three men, all in their 30s, were arrested last year and have now been charged with wounding with intent. They are due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on 10 February.
Det Insp Justin Spanner said the attack happened in a busy bar and officers were still keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault.
