Girl, 15, in 'serious but stable' condition following Solihull collision

A teenage girl is in a 'serious but stable' condition in hospital after being hit by a car.

The girl, 15, who has not been named, suffered a "significant head injury" in the crash on Dalecote Avenue, Solihull.

The male driver of the car was not injured in the accident which took place at around 18:30 GMT on Monday.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the girl was being treated in Birmingham Children's Hospital.
