A woman accused of driving the wrong way on a motorway will stand trial.

Katy Homer was charged with dangerous driving after she allegedly drove north along the M5 southbound carriageway near Wolverhampton on 4 December.

The 26-year-old, of Clent View in Colley Gate, near Halesowen, is also accused of being more than twice the legal alcohol limit at the time.

Her plea and case management hearing will be at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 3 April.

She was released on unconditional bail at Warley Magistrates' Court earlier.
