Colley Gate woman accused of M5 wrong-way drive

A woman accused of driving the wrong way along the M5 motorway has been charged with dangerous driving.

Katy Homer is due to appear at Warley Magistrates' Court on 9 January.

The 26-year-old, of Clent View in Colley Gate, near Halesowen, is also accused of a drink-driving offence.

It is alleged she drove towards traffic on the M5 in the early hours of Wednesday, before leaving the southbound carriageway at junction one for West Bromwich.
