Birmingham teenager sentenced for airgun attacks

A teenager who shot a girl of 17 in the mouth and her younger brother in the head using an airgun, has been sentenced to three years in custody.

The 15-year-old boy shot the pair in a dispute over a stolen bicycle, Birmingham Crown Court was told.

The incident happened on 3 June in Woodlands Road, Alum Rock, Birmingham.

The judge imposed concurrent sentences of three years each for shooting the girl and the boy and two-and-a-half years for possessing a firearm.
