Digbeth stabbings: Two men treated in hospital

Two men have been treated in a Birmingham hospital for stab wounds.

West Midlands Police stopped a speeding vehicle in Birmingham which was said to be on its way to hospital.

A spokesman said an injured man was found in the car. A second man with stab wounds subsequently attended the hospital's A&E department.

A man who was initially arrested has now been released. Part of Coventry Road, Digbeth, remains cordoned off while police investigate the scene.
