A murder inquiry is under way following the death of a man who was shot outside a Birmingham nightclub.

Sylvester Koroma, 35, from Leicester, was shot in the stomach outside Digbeth High Street's Rainbow Warehouse on 10 August.

Despite hospital treatment, Mr Koroma died in hospital on Sunday.

Two men arrested at the scene, and a further man and woman arrested on Thursday, have all been bailed while inquiries continue, police said.

Officers said the motive for the attack, which took place at about 23:45 BST, is still unclear.

Adderley Street was closed on 12 August while searches were carried out by specialist officers.

The venue had been hosting a two-day event called Circoloco, described on its website as "featuring house and techno sets".

The second day of Circoloco was cancelled.
