Birmingham New Street delays after trespasser

A trespasser at Birmingham New Street station has caused long delays and disruption to train services.

Many services were delayed by up to an hour but normal service was expected to resume at about 10:00 BST, London Midland said.

London Midland tweeted that several bus services were accepting train tickets for passengers affected by the disruption.

The trespasser has been moved from the railway, the train operator said.
