George Searle named as Wolverhampton hit-and-run victim

A cyclist who died after a crash in Wolverhampton has been named by police.

George Frederick Searle, 74 ,from Dudley was struck by a vehicle at the Five Ways Island on Thursday.

Two men, aged 30 and 33, were arrested but have been bailed pending inquiries, West Midlands Police said.

A black Seat Leon, which officers were hunting following the collision, was recovered from a garage in Crown Street. Witnesses described seeing it driving away from the scene.
