Stirchley stabbing: Woman attacked in car park

A woman is in a life-threatening condition after being stabbed several times in a car park in Birmingham.

The woman, thought to be in her 30s, was knifed by a man in a car park in Pershore Road, Stirchley, who drove off in a silver-coloured car.

West Midlands Police said they believe the man is known to the victim.

The car park, in front of Fitness First and 1st Bowl, has been cordoned off since the stabbing, at about 14:00 BST.

Any witnesses have been urged to contact police.
