Wesley Williams charged with Yvonne and Harrison Walsh murders

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a mother and her baby in Birmingham.

Wesley Williams, 28, is accused of the murders of Yvonne Walsh, 25, and her seven-month-old son, Harrison.

Ms Walsh and Harrison were found dead in Chells Grove, Billesley on 2 June.

Mr Williams, of Chells Grove, Billesley, was remanded in custody before Birmingham magistrates. He will next appear before the city's crown court on Friday.

Mr Williams is alleged to have murdered Ms Walsh and her son between 31 May and 2 June, the Crown Prosecution Service said in a statement.
